Qaf Arabic culture center
Project Idea:
The purpose of the project is to construct a sophisticated and immersive space designed for students, scholars and foreigners who are passionate about learning the Arabic language and culture. It is situated in the heart of Egypt's capital. The center is not only an institution for language learning, but also a hub for learning calligraphy and Arabic handicrafts. It also serves as a cultural exchange arena and a platform for enhancing awareness of the Arabic language.
Project Description:
The lines of the design are fluid, curved and characterized by flexibility and dynamism which are inspired from the Diwani font - a classic Arabic calligraphy form.
To create a truly inspiring and authentic learning environment, the open layout promotes interaction while maintaining functional spaces for focused learning.
Upon entering the main entrance of the first floor, you will find a reception and a waiting area, leading further into an exhibition space, a comprehensive library, a multi-purpose hall, and an Arabic-themed restaurant.
The second floor contains the administrative department and includes three primary classrooms for learning and collaboration along with another waiting area.
